This Cookie Policy explains how The Compound uses cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) to run the Service, remember your preferences, and — with your permission — measure how the product is used. Read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Analytics is off by default. When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may collect anonymous product analytics. You can change this choice at any time using the control below.
These keep the Service running: signing you in, keeping your session alive, and remembering which room you're in. They cannot be disabled in-app; clearing them will sign you out.
Small settings we save so the app feels the same each visit. Removing them just resets defaults.
compound:analytics-consent:v1).Only after you accept do we record aggregate product-usage events: page views, button clicks, signup funnel steps, and checkout status. Events are stored under compound:analytics:v1 and never include your email, password, or payment details.
When you open the checkout, our payment processor sets its own cookies to prevent fraud and complete the transaction. Those cookies are governed by the processor's cookie policy; we don't read or control them.
We keep third parties to a minimum. The only external cookies that may appear are set by our authentication and payment providers when you use those flows. We do not run advertising trackers.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and gameplay. To reset analytics choice for The Compound specifically, use the Reset button in the consent manager above.
When we add or remove cookies materially, we'll update this page and — if the change affects analytics — re-prompt you for consent.
